How to remove funds from a card connected to a programme

Need to remove funds from someone’s card? No stress — it’s super simple to do in Ben. Maybe a transaction went through on the wrong card, or something needs adjusting — here’s how to fix it in a few quick steps:

Here’s how:

1. Head to the Admin section of your Ben account.
2. Click on Allowances.
3. Find and select the allowance you want to deduct funds from.
4. Click Deduct Money.
5. Fill in the details — include the reason for the deduction, the amount to remove, and the date the change should take effect.
6. Click Next Step, then choose the person (or people) the deduction applies to.
7. Finally, hit Deduct Money to confirm.

And that’s it — deduction complete! 🪄
