## HOW BABYSITS WORKS

Parents and childcare providers sign up for free and can create profiles.

Childcare providers can contact parents freely. Parents need to upgrade to premium subscription to respond or contact other providers.

Parties organize bookings and payments (via Babysits in supported countries: see Stripe Global) or via the messaging system and pay outside (in unsupported countries).

<u>Reviews and references system. Members can invite outside references to provide</u>
<u>comments on their previous work, and members they've worked together with can</u>

<u>Secure messaging - the Babysits messaging service has automated screening, which</u>
<u>detects fraud and suspicious behavior.</u>

**Stripe Identity:**

Stripe Identity is supported globally. Members can take a live selfie
which is used to authenticate identity against a photo of a valid
government identification document.

## Local Criminal Record Checks:

Members can upload local criminal check documents. These are
screened by the Babysits team to determine authenticity as best we
can (document information is cross referenced with account
personal details - name, DOB, ID verification info when possible).

When possible, we check these against government
databases/authentication resources. Certifications will include a
valid until or delivered on date - to indicate validity/recency.
